Moon Pics é projeto solo do brasiliense Adriano Caiado iniciado em 2018 como veículo de expressão sonora nos gêneros dreampop e lo-fi. Com todo o material produzido em casa – e sob a influência de bandas como The Radio Dept., Cocteau Twins e The Jesus and Mary Chain – o projeto inunda em guitarras reverberadas temas como escapismo, desilusão e solidão.
Motion excede os limites reverberativos da música pop para dar lugar a um imaginário sonoro sonhador e nostálgico misturando, à luz da produção lo-fi, arranjos rítmicos e melódicos remanescentes dos movimentos post-punk e dreampop. Por meio de suas cinco faixas de estrutura simples cujo lirismo se ampara nas texturas atmosféricas combinadas da voz, guitarra e drum machine, Moon Pics busca nos convencer de que a experiência sonora é capaz de fazer de nós aquele que vive dentro de um sonho para escapar da realidade desiludida e solitária. A primeira faixa e single "I can't just follow you", preludia a temática do EP incitando, sob influência de bandas como The Radio Dept. e Cocteau Twins, a saudade de memórias distantes ou nunca vividas.

Moon Pics is the solo project of Adriano Caiado started in 2018 as a vehicle of sound expression in the dreampop and lo-fi genres. With all the material
produced at home - under the influence of bands like The Radio Dept., Cocteau Twins and The Jesus and Mary Chain - the project floods reverberating guitars with themes like escapism, disillusionment and loneliness.
Motion excedes the reverberation limits of pop music to shape nostalgic and dreamy soundscapes over lo-fi rithms and melodyes remnants of the post punk and dreampop movements of the 80's. Through its five tracks of simple structure whose lyricism is based on the combined atmospheric textures of voice, guitar and drum machine, Moon Pics seeks to convince us that the sound experience is capable of making us the one who lives in a dream to escape of disillusioned and solitary reality. The first track and single "I can not just follow you", preludes the theme of the EP inciting, under the influence of bands like The Radio Dept. and Cocteau Twins, the longing for distant or never lived memories.
